HELDA - Helpful Disassembly Assistant

HELDA aims to develop an application capable of helping its users in operations such as disassembly/repair in automobile workstations, alongside with the registration of occurrences for future reference and analysis.

This project takes advantage of the Android's voice recognition system and turns it into a continuous listening service, capable of identifying a set of keywords and acting according to them.

HELDA is a complete solution, that eliminates errors in the disassembly process, minimizes downtime while providing data that can be used for process refinement.

The PSA group is present across the entire automotive value chain. It is comprised of strong iconic brands such as: Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Vauxhall, etc. Their main goal is to provide its customer with unique automotive experiences that bring them freedom and pleasure.



CONTEXT

HELDA is a group of applications designed to streamline and facilitate the process of car disassembly for factory workers of the Peugeot/Citroën group. It will also provide a front end interface for technicians to visualize and analyze statistics related to the disassembly process. This interface will allow the detection of any flaws in the disassembly, thus facilitating the efficiency maximization of the whole process.
